DmC will crash if you use a PS3 controller without emulating it to a 360 controller, DMC3 swaps your left/right stick (hence the Ry/ Rx - those should be right y/x), DMC4 had me in X360CE for ages sorting out all the problems.

In addition to its excellent combat mechanics and level design, which expand greatly on the elements introduced in past games, the story and characters had never before received such focus in Devil May Cry. DMC on PC just seems to be a pain in general. DMC Vergil is more playful, but maintaining his cool and calculation. Devil May Cry V is the best entry in the series and one of the best character action games ever released. And for sure, DmC Vergil is more elegant. At least he doesn't have a Fedora anymore. At least Vergil got a proper DLC with his levels and story in DmC, something we will never get in a DMC game. But when i say it's a good game, i mean the Definitive Edition. Außerdem hin und wieder ein DVD/- Blu-Ray Review. Still, it got good scores and the combos were decent. Auf diesem Kanal gibt es unter der Woche Lets plays zu aktuellen Spielen und am Wochenende welche zu Spieleklassikern. Thanks for the info, I'll try it on my other games that doesn't work with my DS4.

Now DMC3:SE also suffers from the lack of punch from DMC4:SE Vergil and DMC5:SE Vergil, but 4 and 5 were made and based on DmC, which was a good game, but a kinda to meh DMC (Still miles better than DMC2, and on par with DMC4) game. Just open big picture mode, go to settings, then controller settings and select dualshock 4. Does Devil May Cry 5 in PC work/support PS4 controller Question Im thinking on buying the game with deluxe edition since its on sale but the controller I have is PS4 not xbox. While DmC suffers from impact, sound and general punch when performing moves, and it doesn't flash the Katana when he sheaths it like in DMC3, 4 and DMC5, it's more of a proper way of wielding it. So That's why DMC3/4/5 (4 and 5 are based on DmC Vergil) use the different scabbard technique. Of course, they wanted someone who is skilled enough, respectful, yet playful with the Katana, a little bit on the wild side. the mouse wasn't used by default and since the games had pre-set camera angles like early resident evil games you didn't control it with the mouse. DmC uses the more popular "proper" way in the East, and DMC3 Vergil uses the more Western Approach. Devil may cry 1 through DMC4 on PC had a really weird control layout on PC where you used WASD to move but keys like KLJI to attack, shoot and jump. It's just a matter of perspective and what age it was.

Both stances on how they wield their folded Katana are right.
